We’re Bringing On The Ocean Back to Portland
Share
Hey Guster fans, we’re getting the band (and all of you) back together for another On The Ocean weekend in Portland, Maine, August 8-10! This is our favorite weekend of the year—three days of music, adventure, and good times with all of you in one of the best cities on the planet.
This year, we’re bringing On The Ocean back to its roots with even more chances to explore Portland. We’ve got two days of live music at Thompson’s Point with a killer lineup, plus a Friday night kickoff show at the State Theatre. We’re also planning boat cruises, bike tours, a video arcade takeover, a live podcast taping, and more ways for you to hang with fellow fans.
Tickets are on sale now!
The Music
We’ll be playing both Saturday and Sunday, but we’ve also lined up some amazing artists to join us:
Saturday: The Mountain Goats, Fruit Bats, Maggie Rose, Joe & Marc Pisapia, and Sam Champion.
Sunday: Hanson, Joy Oladokun, Karina Rykman, and Bailen.
Beyond the Music
This weekend isn’t just about the shows—it’s about experiencing Portland together. Here’s what we’ve got planned:
Friday night kickoff at the State Theatre – Hits & Bits: An Evening of Music & Comedy with Guster, live storytelling, and stand-up.
A special podcast taping of That’s How I Remember It with Craig Finn (The Hold Steady) at One Longfellow Square.
Arcadia is becoming Dave & Guster’s – our official meetup spot and retro arcade takeover.
Bike, kayak & paddleboard adventures to explore Portland by land and sea.
A daytime harbor cruise, just like we did in year one.
Free entry to the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine for ticket holders.
Pre- and post-show hangs at Bissell Brothers Brewery.
